smoke / dart combo

i read in this months MBUK that they are bringing back the Smoke / Dart tyre combo for a limited run ..... got to be better than the re-run Pork's ( which weren't very good originally .....

I bought a Smoke the other week in the USA while on a business trip - seemed really like the original. It's in blackwall only, but matched nicely with a black NOS Dart I had. The transfers were all as original too.

I know what you mean there. Luckily I've managed to get some nos ones (and they're folding ones too). I, personally, think that they're a good tyre for the type of riding I do but they are very soft. You don't want to use them on the roads too much. You can almost see them wearing down if you do. :shock:
