Small Mountain Bike for Touring

Hi All,

I'm after a small rigid mountain bike for my other half - she's 5'2" so I'm after a 15 inch frame I think.

We're just going to put some slicks on it and racks (so it needs mounts on the back) and use it for light touring.

Maybe a Kona, as they have a low standover height?

I'm in the West Mids, so local or post as well as I have no car.

Can swap for a small singlespeeded roadbike (700c) if your intetrested too.

I'd thoroughly recommend a Kona - my wife's Fire Mountain converted really successfully into a tourer.

This looks good if it doesn't get too pricey. One for the watch list!

Now that is an offer! Bought S&E when it came out in 92 as I thought Pavement was a cool name for a band...

Pics here... and it has rack mounts!

Spec is low endish apart from the killer STX rear mech... Paint is epic and unmarked. It's a purply marble fade into black - goes down very well with the ladies...

Honestly, it's like a new bike...

Hence price... £125 posted but I'll knock a fiver off for that tape! Full measurements on request... the bike - not your wife!
