Small gravel bike

Long shot I know but looking for a small size (probably 49cm c-top at most) gravel bike please.

Needs to be in good condition. Hydraulic brakes and would prefer 2x if posible. Prefer SRAM over shimano. As I understand these new fangled things have there own sub-divisions. I would like more speed than tourer.

Don't mind cost but I do object paying prices I have seen where people expect to sell a used bike rrp £1700 for £1500.

Have looked at Boardman 8.9 ADV, Planet X ti (dithered and now sold out), Ribble CGR in any material, etc

Anything considered.

Many thanks.

You would get a mid spec Top stone for £1500’ ish new

Thank you. I did look at one but that may have been one I had trouble finding in my size. Or when I compared it to the Boardman (which are £650 secondhand or even a new Ribble) did not take my fancy.

Am I wrong to compare Cannondale with Boardman? It is going to get thrashed.

Re:

I like Cannondale stuff personally. They spend fortunes on R&D so it just works and rides nicely.

My wife has the Topstone 4 at £900 new and it’s a nice bike.

Plus resale is good too.

Gravel bikes haven’t really been mainstream long enough for them to become cheap and also good.

I have often looked at retro Cannondales ie f900 but I already have enough retro bikes. My son has the Boardman. It seems suitable for purpose. And has good reviews. Lots become available but not in my size.

Maybe I will take another look at a Topstone. Thank you.
