Sure thats still viable ?. Merlin sale finished yesterday.
I picked up a Hans Dampf 27.5"x2.35 super gravity rear, and a Hope pro5 29er front wheel.
The tyre was 17 quid, saving about £40, the wheel only a saving of 20 quid, but I was in the market for a pro5 anyway so any saving is appreciated.
Previous in the same sale, managed to cobble together a full Sram GX DUB boost drivetrain for £210, between Merlin and Alpkit outlet on ebay, saving about £170
Theres a number of hell of a good bargains out there if you shop about. Don't know how long they're going to last so get in quick.
