Can anybody give me a clue re the brake mounts up front? The brake bosses are about 5mm too long so don't tighten down properly. I would be interested to see a closeup of another fork if anybody has one, i'm in two minds wether to make a small spacer to sit behind the bosses or shorten the threads a little

Wish I could remember which box I left the stem noodle in grrrr.
Thinking about speaking to the local metal finishing place about getting it gently blasted with walnut shells to tidy up the satin finish. Has anybody here tried this? I suspect a trial run on an old stem or something may be in order first.

Think that frame is 93/94. My old McMahon had all the scuffs gently polished with emery paper by myself then when happy I got a local company to bead blast it. It looked fantastic when done. Gil did some decals for it and should have them on file

A rather vague outline of where a logo once lived, crudely pencilled in so it can be copied and reproduced. The frame has little shadows where the triangular MRC crest used to live, I have never seen another one with this font though.
