Slaying the Badger by Richard Moore. Brilliant read, paints a thrilling picture of the 86 tour and is a fantastic insight into Lemond and Hinault. Recommended.
 
i'll second that...

Great book, I enjoyed it too. The same author did a biography of Robert Miller - that was good too.
 
The Millar book is fantastic too, again very insightful, Heroes villains and velodromes is another great read.
 
Just reading Herbie Sykes 'Maglia Rosa', a cracking read with excellent pictures.

Fallen Angel the Fausto Coppi story is worth a look at too.
 
having enjoyed the millar & hoy book i was delighted to find this book, the 86 is my fav tour, 2nd one i watched.

just need to find the time to read it now, been sitting gathering dust for 2 months :oops:
