The new skate park is nearly finished and my girls are pestering for skateboards..

I'm in no mad rush to buy.. got a couple of months I reckon..

But.. their first skateboards.. I don't want to buy the BSO equivalent neither do I want top of the range..

What's a good 'entry level' jobby that won't get laughed out of the park....??

bitd you use to be able to get blanks quite cheep, just a deak with no graphics on, not sure if you can get them today though. it been a long time since i skated

edit, i just put skatebord blanks into ebay. they seem quite reasonable, canadain maple too

I'm so clueless about skateboards I don't think google is my best friend for this. . . I need an experienced, subjective opinion on them ideally. . . . And joining another forum isn't very appealing.

rollersnakes sell good blank set ups,get a few stickers and your laughing. skateboarders never really had the snobbery mtb and bmx had, your boards get bscratched to buggery after a few boardslides and blunts so dont worry to much. about 50-80 each would be about right. hope this helps. just dont go looking at retro set ups.......

I have my retro board. . . From the 70's.. . They aren't using it.
50-80 works for me. . . I'll have a look at the place you mentioned ta 8)
