finally my new bike is ready from Condor cycles in london. it was another cycle to work scheme bike, i hadn't got a singlespeed/fixie type bike and i thought i'd try one. i ordered it back in november but me being me the off the peg model didn't do it for me so the frame was built as standard by condors italian frame builders then painted as i wanted. the paint scheme was basically off another model they do called the fratello i think, it's just a simple classic style paint job, nothing flash just subtle.
when i picked it up i thought it looked a little small but the next size up would have been too big at as it was a 55cm frame with a very long toptube. i rode it out of the shop and immediatley felt too low at the front end so within a 100yds i stopped and flipped the stem up the other way, which then made it feel spot on, bummer though really as i hate seeing stems up this way on a road bike but the fit is more imortant than the look.
once i got that sorted i thought i'd have a spin around the capital, i love riding in london, i know i shouldn't as it can be very dangerous but i love it, it's like a giant obstical course to me.
i stopped at various places of interest just for fun a got a couple of pics.
hope you like!
