went to cinema to watch shutter island last night. was pleasantly suprised by how good it was.

disapointed at the price of popcorn though :shock:

Last time I went it was a one off for someones b'day last year, as i refuse to go to the cinema any more. Its was 2.95 for a 300ml bottle of water.

I just refuse to pay a tenner and be robbed on food/drink to have some snotty kid kick the back of my seat.

I'm on lovefilm and wait for the DVD now.

our warner village youd be looking at around 8 quid a ticket and probably round it upto 15 quid for some snacks! :shock: :evil: dont go there! we go to abc on occasion (now reel) £3.50 a ticket and we bring our own food! a bit less comfortable but not uncomfortable

she decants in into plastic water bottles but usually takes a glass with her too. avoid cans of lager though. or avoid opening them in a quiet bit at least!
