Show us your Fisher - Gary Fisher

Thanks for all the help on this @24pouces

Gonna be honest and say that I only do the basics (though have removed and installed BBs before) when it gets to this level. Owner of the (sorta) local bike shop/ cafe Portuer, Paul, has the knowledge and the skills, so will drop him a line.

I take it even this tiny amount of play means it's time to get the BB bearings replaced then?

Another one for my fellow Fisher Heads on here.

I don't like the seat binder bolt, it's heavy, clunky and unless tightened pretty stiff it slips.

Better get it out and measure it before looking for any replacement, but does anyone have an advice on lighter, but effective replacements?

My '88 Procaliber (Tange Prestige tubes that year) DeoreXTII group including U-brake rear

Also recently bought a '90 Celerity in the 2nd picture (currently a single speed - but I will probably convert it back)

The Celerity will replace my '97 Gary Fisher Nirvana in the 3rd photo (that I will sell as a F&F&stem+headset fuselage if anyone is interested to take it on as a project? 18-19" - US made out of True Temper steel - lovely ride still, although lots of patina - no dents or damage just paint cosmetics)
