Should I buy this frame?

Looking at a vintage frame , its unidentified but has really nice cut out, filed down lugs and forged dropouts, pin stripes on the seat stay caps, in all it looks like a quality frame. Possibily 60s/70s , British threading. Going for £80

The seller says it has a 26.6 seat post size . I know seat post size isn't always an indicator of quality and tube sets could vary but does anyone know if this is likely to be any good? Was 531 ever sold with this seatpost diameter? I'm looking to upgrade my gas pipe frame for something a bit livelier and don't want to buy another!

cheers

Cut out lugs and forged dropouts are a general sign of quality.........it depends on how dented it might be but £80 would be a good place to start bargaining..

Re:

Theres no dents , paintwork looks a bit tatty but otherwise in good condition . Might be worth a shot then. Cheers
