I've had a look at my current rear mech and that's only a middle cage so I'm still very interested in this.

Does it have a Max & Total numbers stamped on the cage, mine is Max 32T, total 33T. All this means to me is some of my ratios are unusable due to lack of chain tension, but to be honest who ever uses granny & small cogs at the rear anyway.

I have this medium cage on my M950 cassette and it’s a stretch but does work if you have the patience to set it up.
