I think it might be a plain STX actually - was confusing it with the brakes I've just sold...

I wanted the shimano deore STX RC and not the STX.

I have an STX RC -- it's a good mech. But what's it worth to you? Would you swap it for something maybe? As it's currently in use, I can't just whip it off and carry on riding y'know. It doesn't match the rest of my parts so it isn't essential that I have stxrc myself, good as it is.

What do you wanted in bike parts if you wanted to swap the stx rc?

>threadless headset of reasonable quality (ie with a seal) pref in a funky colour (1 1/8th")
>rear mech (lx m560 or similar) or p/ex on an xtr m950
>funky anodised handlebars
>some decent pedals, possibly

I got a rear mech shimano deore lx m563 is used but looks nice to me.
