Shimano ST-M960 Dual Control XTR Shifters

Hey all! For sale is a set of Shimano XTR dual control levers in great condition!

This is a lovely bit of kit which I could really justify keeping, but I have no use for them in reality ):

The levers are in great mechanical working order and look pretty good to boot! The periphery thumb shifters have broken off in both accounts, but you'll really struggle to find a set that haven't succumb to this fate. I believe that the mounts for the thumbies can be removed internally, although I am not certain of this.

The levers are for a 9 speed drive-train and are designed for either mechanical disk brakes or v-brakes. Mounted, these make for a very clean 'cockpit' with minimal weight.

I really do wish I could keep these but I can't see them unused equally! They are beautifully made. I particularly like the machined brake cable adjusters, very bling!

Pick up a real bargain for your groovy flat cyclocross build this winter!

If the thumb shifters have broken off - how are these able to shift cable?

These are intergrated brake/shifters, think mountain bike sti. So pulling the levers up pulls cable and pushing it down releases. Youtube it

i see - so the broken thumbie has no function as the lever controls everything?

It's just a secondary way to release the cable. Shimano marketed it as being there to make the cross over from regular rapidfire easier
