Shimano R440 8sp Shifters...

I have heard a nasty rumour that said shifters wont work with an MTB front mech... Is this a load of tosh, or has anyone any experience of them???

i thought f/mech and f/mech shiftrs were universal

indeed that is a very nasty rumour for someone to be spreading!

I hope its a nasty rumour... I plan to keep them for 'a rainy day'... as it were...
