Shimano-Flite-Specialized-Parts

Bad news: Today I looked at the frame once again and recognized a lot of rust around the bottom bracket. I guess, that the seattube had contact with water sometime. After this shock I tried to remove the bb with the standard-Shimano-Tool. Suddenly the left plastic cartridge broke, so the bb can't really be removed from the left side at the moment. The right side is fixed too because of the rust...

So the frame will need a bath of WD-40 or any other oil to extract the bb. Because of the bad news the frame would just be for a guy knowing what to do now. I don't want to sell any bullshit and therefore I've made detailed photographs in my album.

The rest of the frame and the fork are in a good condition, so the fork hasn't any similar problem than the frame  .

6.) If anybody is still interested in the frame+fork+headset+stem+bar-seatpost-set, I'll sell those parts including shipping within europe for 70 GBP.

7.) Specialized crankset + original titanium pedals: 175 mm length, good condition, chainrings good for several kilometers. One problem: I can't remove the left pedal from the crankarm. The right one has been removed using WD40. So I guess, you need to treat the left side with WD40 too. Because of this disadvantage, you'll get the pedals for free and just have to pay the crankset.......... 49 GBP including insured shipping

Hello!

Short update: everything sold (Thank's :) ) but the frame+fork+headset.

If someone needs the direct drive fork+headset, I'd sell them for 26 GBP including shipping to UK. Cheers, stoppi

P.S.: The frame will be used for the austrian way of scottish caber tossing... It's so a beautiful frame but water isn't the best friend of steel
