6500 is ultegra and many purchasers chose this octalink BB over the DA despite its slightly heavier weight as it is completely sealed (the DA has alloy cups that push into a dark tinted plastic centre sleeve) http://erinabikeworxonline.com/index.ph ... ts_id=6703
