In answer to questions, the SR white stem was supplied on bikes of the late 80's/90's which were fitted with the Shimano Sante pearl white groupset. It also looks the part on dark coloured bikes. As I recall Raleigh produced a Sante specced bike, The Record Ace Moderne 653, as did Peugeot, Koga Miyata, Bianchi, Schwinn and Moser.
