Shifter options when fiitting Magura brakes?

Have a set of Magura HS33's to fit, and currently using a set of Shimano ST-M071's for combined braking and shifting duties.

What options do I have, need some standalone shifters- ideally I'd like to keep using period rapidfire ones.

Have seen some awful 100GS on ebay, and also looked at the Tektro adaptors that Retrofit is selling on here. The adapters look ideal, but just want to see if anyone else has other suggestions.

Think I've got a set of stand alone LX 8 speed shifters somewhere.
Or you could get hold of some thumbies

Im having the same prob Bri, was running 8speed but new frame wont accept my 8 speed wheels, but I dont want to loose my maggies. I managed to scrounge some 7 speed shifters off my lbs but they are bso standard. There isnt a lot of 7 speed shifter pods available. So if your 8 speed happy days if your 7 then join the great thumbie hunt.

Yours have the removable pods dont they? mmmmm I wonder if they would fit on my stx pods brackets?

Just tried it with some altus shifters and they fit May start looking for some different shifters then

So maybe buy something like this, and fit my 7 speed pods.

Might do just had a lookie at a piccy of your type of shifters and cant say for sure Do they have a circular fitting where they bolt onto the brake levers?
