If like Eddy Merckx you enjoy a cigar, you will appreciate the warm golden brown hues
of this vintage San Marco Rolls saddle. Authentic patina included - no need for Strava to justify hard miles
in the saddle; your cycling buddies will see this mounted on skinny 531 and immediately worry. Bum
comfort can only be rivaled to that well broken in Chesterfield in the King George Hotel, Sandringham, West Norfolk.
No road rash and bits of discoloured foam hanging out, so I will rate it as good condition. Date
stamped 1993, which was a good vintage for leather saddles from Italy according to pompous
cooking programs. Weight weenies beware, this is the steel rail version, but they are classy goldy brass
in colour so keep that added function benefit in mind.
