scruffy 93 Orange

Looks identical to the Prestige I sold a couple of years ago (mine was in much tidier nick but I struggled for a long time to get £45 posted). If rust not beyond sperficial looks a very good buy.

got the frame tonight and it is defo a 93 prestige- there is still a "Pr" of the decal under gaffer tape and the serial number backs up the 93 age. Condition on the outside is not bad no surface rust a couple of small dings and the paint is very scratched but looked good as gold. However it rattles, sounds like lots of small rust chips in the wishbone and poss rear stays- also even though the Bottom Bracket threads are fine there is lots of deep rust inside the BB, prob to much TBH

I will post up a thread with some pictures tomorrow and seek advice on what to do and how bad it looks- know that I could arrest the rusting, and frame save it but not sure I would want to ride her given the very thin tubes? :?

I am now a bit more optimistic on the frame Dave, got a fair bit of rust particles out so now not so noisy and the bottom bracket is corroded but not beyond saving IMHO, the frame seems solid and no sign of cracks, should think about a drainage hole in the Bottom bracket before I get her powdercoated, here are a few piccies. Very light frame and thinking of going classic matt black but maybe black decals too for a stealthy look?
