scratches on black anodised seatpost

Hi

Is there any way to polish out the scratch marks on a black anodised seatpost?, it's on my Cannondale which I am doing it up at the moment, just wondered if it can be saved without the need to buy another seatpost, any special polish stuff or tips?

Black permanent marker. Clean the 'post, touch in any scratches, polish with dry cloth. Repeat if necessary.

Sharpie markers are the best for the job.

Thanks chaps, have tried it this evening, it's looking better, a few times with maker pen and polish, it will look good as new, thanks
