Scottish transport extravaganza - Retrobikes

Had a wee trip up to Glamis Castle for the transport show and was please with the vintage cycle turnout. First time I've made it to the show despite living within 20 miles of it most of my life. Some lovely old motors and modern classics, with the local car clubs well represented. Jimihendrix would have loved it. Ford RS owners club had an amazing selection of MK1 and MK2 escorts and some amazing wee Lancias I've never seen before.

Would be a good future social meet for all the family.

Smart Really like the Raleigh runabout and the Indian(is that the US motorcycle company does anyone know,if so must cost a fortune)
The racing trike is something i havent seen for a while. I know one of the volunteers from 'Common Wheel' bike project in Glasgow owned one about 15 yrs ago, it could well be the same one. Very nice, wouldnt mind one myself for my road collection

That wee "Indian" is ace. Lettering is right but did Indian really build such a thing or is it a pastiche??

Amused by the chopper too. I thought they were crap when I was a kid and they first came out and I suppose they were really. I met a couple of young lads ~ 14 years old outside the Fort William supermarket the other day. One was on a Raleigh chopper. Must admit I thought that was pretty cool. Guess they must be coming back into fashion then? Or are there 14 year old luddites and members of this site??
