I had a pair with the Carbon lowers (LF version if memory serves), got rained on once for a couple of minutes and they seized up shortly after.

I threw the Scott shocks in the dumpster and bought a new pair of Rock Shox Mag 21 that still work till this day. Even the bike shop didn't want the Scott shocks for free.
