schwinn straight 8 / yeti dh8

right so i have a dh8, and the paint is cack. its the black mainframe with the flames coming out the headtube.

its old but i love the bike. it rides mint and its built like a tank.

i know the frame is a 98 pull shock model but what id like to do is get the front end powdercoated in ral 5018 or yeti blue.

is this cheating? i dont wanna sell the bike and im not trying to make a fast buck or anything but i always wanted a dh8 i just love the colour.

what does everyone think? id strip the frame myself and there are 2 powdercoaters near me who will do it.

id only do the frame blue with yellow decals and polished rear end.

also i colud do with some direction stripping the frame down, i have no idea how the bushings come out?

I say paint it how you want it. I personally don't like powder coat.
Is it a yeti or schwinn? Didn't the yetis have the cool troy lee grapics on that year.
