Schwinn Homegrown USA frameset, paintwork is tatty and needs redoing, but there are no dents, cracks, or gouges.
Paintwork is the metalflake red, it has the 'USA' tomato decals, the welds are good, and it has a 'Y' stamped on the BB shell, canti hanger, replaceable rear mech hanger
After some ace investigation work by ameybrook (se here: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=258874) I no longer think its a Yeti built one, but more likely a Control Tech/Anodize jobbie, still, its a really lovely frame, and if it werent too big Id be keeping her...
frame number is: '96B E02566' with a 'L' stamped above it
c-to-c seat tube is 18"
c-to-top seat tube is 20.5"
The top tube c-to-c is 23"
head tube is 5" long
This is Ultra-light, and very nicely made.
Now Looking for £80 OBO posted in the UK
