Well another bike ends up in my man cave :facepalm: Seen this 93 Lavadome in the optional extra colour of black on eBay a couple of days ago,looking very sorry for itself but it was only £39 bin. I had to take a chance saying the main parts were all original ie F&F'S,stem,headset and the elusive seatclamp and cable guide plus it's the first 1993 Kona i'd seen in black. Also saying i've retired my worn out 93 Lavadome which i'd had since new this would be perfect to replace it,if things weren't seized 
After getting it out of that novel packaging 
and seeing the state of it,it was straight for the wd40,seatpost first no problem :? stem next no problem :? Now the bb :shock: straight out that's the first bike i've had which hasn't put up a fight restoring it So saying it was being nice i decided to put the full DX groupset i've had lying around on it and i'm going to use it as my daily commute and training bike. Just need some inner tubes and a chain and have a look for the original Kona 165 bars and i'm a happy chap
