Hi all,

So I offered up my yet to be trued LX rear to my nice purple Saracen and found a difference of about 10mm. See pics. At first I thought the rear triangle might be a biy wonky but it measures about 135mm which is the same as the Zakar. So I'm assuming it's a compatability issue! So... should I add a spacer, is it obviously missing one, any thoughts? :)

Cheers
P

No such thing has hub incompatibilities unless trying to squash 135 into 126.

Looks like the hub is 130mm at first glance.

Then, there appears to be some spacers missing from the hub itself as there wouldnt normally be that much thread exposed.

Look at this pic and you'll see what I mean

Re:

Sorry... had a day programming and applying software terminology to bikes again! Missing spacers would make sense... see if I can find an 'exploded' view of an LX hub somewhere and see what's missing. Cheers for the pic. :)

Pretty sure I have a surplus LX hub in one of my sake threads for not much money if you want some spare bits.

I'm going to check the bits box for bent axles and spacers from BITD first, then I might have a nose, thank you. :)
