dip em in a warm caustic soda/water mix & in 3mins they'll be silver

Before dipping, strip them and bung them through the parts washer (dishwasher in kitchen when swmbo is out) first to remove the grease.

Hmm.. it'd be a shame to remove the anodizing.. and the protection from corrosion? What about the laser etched Salsa logo, will that disappear too?

Some silver will crop up eventually.
