I have a '95 S-Works FSR and XTR cranks. Can I get away with 107mm BB on this frame or will the crank/rings be too close to the rear triangle?

Does anyone know what spindle length was actually fitted on these bikes?

Cheers

I don't know what length BB spindle was originally fitted, but I do know for any given crank you can run a narrower BB spindle on the '95 FSR than you would a hardtail. 1st gen TNTs typically require a 128mm spindle and I'm running them with a 122mm on my '95 FSR.

Yes, I would think so. Even though it seems counterintuitive the width of the frame at the chain stays is narrower than your average hardtail.
