See what restraint I showed! It took a great deal of willpower to not press the buy it now when that popped up. If it had been a bit bigger and less than 50 miles away my willpower may have been maxed out!

It would make a lovely bike cleaned up a bit and is an unusual colour. I’ve said it before of these models - the grips/pedals/seat cost a fortune to replace and this one had the lot.
Not sure if the drivetrain is original, bike got to be 1984 ish is that model of XT that early?

I nearly clicked it myself but passed it on, as mentioned it will be in good hands now. I cant remember seeing an S&G in this colour before. M730 not introduced till 87 so probably had a drive train upgrade.

Theres someone on the MF facebook group with one in the same colour, but its the only other one I've seen so must be rare.

Also the stem or at least never seen a stem like that on a 'B' before.....and think bars too maybe.
