Unified rear triangle has the bb as part of the swingarm, the theory being you isolate the pedaling force from the shock by having all your drivetrain integrated
The RTS is a rocker articulated single pivot, if you took out the shock and rocker it's only connected at the high pivot point and the rising rate linkage actively locks out the shock under pedal stroke compression...
If you do decide to go the m900 route I have a 31.8 tp front mech that I scoured to find and a reasonable rear m900 which I'd part with....
