This little beauty is still there, a little cheaper, potentially in my size and since I already have one Romani frame, my mind is starting to drift...

These grub screws look like the worst idea ever. This is not going to work with a cf seatpost 🤔 I don't think this is even going to work with an alloy seatpost, as the screws are tiny.
Cut a slot in the top of the seat tube and put a clamp over it instead?

I don't know how as the extension of the seat tube is not cut horizontal.
 
Ok, not my problem any more - too small for me.
The seat clamp is, indeed, just two small screws going through the seat tube. That's a very strange design decision.

Otherwise the bike should be a beauty - has to be one of the last built by the Romani company, as they folded ere around '92 if memory serves me right.
