Retro Newbie
Hi guys,

New to the forum, I'm from Bosnia and Hercegovina, city of Ljubuski. I have bought a Rocky mountain in a bad shape, but as I can see it was hand welded and the number is hand stamped. It goes BDS 619477

Can someone help about this model? It had all old shimano SIS shifters, DR, It has 3x8 speed.

I'm pretty sure that isn't a RM, sorry. As far as i know they never used cheap pressed steel drop outs like that. It also appears to have a fairly ubiquitous (on cheaper frames) flat, welded seat stay bridge. The welds look huge and a bit messy too, suggesting mass production. Sorry...

No problem, it was labeled RM, and had some blue- purple color that I haven found in any catalogues, welds I saw. And it was funny that it had no model name on it. I think that it's some kind of a cheap copy, but it was interesting to me because when the first owner bought it in the 90's it had some OEM price to it.

BR and thanks for spending time on this.
