In later years, the Equipe occupied a slot in the RM range for a mid-weight, strong bike, below the Blizzard and heavier if anything than a Blizzard (which itself was never a race-oriented bike). But in 1992, the Equipe (as you would expect given its name) was a race-oriented frame built from Tange Ultimate Superlight and Concept. As such, I guess it must have been the second-lightest steel frame in the range, behind the Altitude. Whereas the Blizzard that year was made all from Concept, i.e., a slightly heavier/cheaper tubeset.
