Just bought myself a 98 Rocky Mountain Blizzard for €25,00!!!

Frame only though with a jammed seatpost! But hey for a mere €25...

I'm down to the cutting out stage :twisted:
It's a Syncros post which is proving to be a complete b*tch to get out. I think I'm going to have to cut it into strips to completely remove it.

Aluminum seatposts frequently become stuck by corrosion also, and penetrating oil is almost useless against aluminum oxide. Fortunately, aluminum oxide can be dissolved like magic by using ammonia.

I'll give it a go this weekend! Top tip.

If that doesn't work, i'll cut it as well. I'll post some pics ok?
