What springs are in the Indys at the moment.
The replacement spring if for the top TypeII and probably work with TypeIII setup. It might not be useful for these forks ?

Pop the springs or elastomer out, takes a few second. (undo the top caps)
I think they're typeII elastomer/spring as they look 1993 but inverted colours.

They came off a '98 LTS.. don't really want to undo anything unless I have to, I'm not an internal working of forks kinda chap at the mo'

Well if I was buying them I would really want to see the state of the springs, elastomer
'tis very easy to do, just a twist of the top nobs to get them off,

Please don't think I'm being obtuse but, even at a tenner for the springs (which is less than I paid) this is a £10 pair of forks (after postage)..

They are quite tidy (cosmetically) and bounce as I suspect they should.. they aren't being peddled as NOS or awesome condition or even rebuilt.. they are a cheap set of forks that, imo, look quite cool and kinda retro.

Twisting the knobs didn't undo anything and the tools I would need (spanners, I suspect) are packed in readiness to move house
