You can use any motorcycle fork shock oil. The standard reccomended weight for RockShox Judy XC's is SAE 5. You can slow the rebound damping by using up to SAE 15W shock oil. I've just used Shell Advance SAE 7.5W from Halfords. For the 2001 model use 130cc in the right leg & 30cc in the left leg.

Up side of using the lower weight oils is it is less temperature sensitive than the higher weight oils so shouldn't thin at higher temperatures in the sun or thicken in the cold. Hence why 5W is used a lot :D
But find the Service guide, if they are modern like the 2001 mentioned. It's probably in SRAM's website. Might be hidden away in the Archive area or whatever it is called. It'll then tell you what you need for your weight and ride style, or should do ;)

Totally agree that's what the manual says, but Mr Flooks advised me to use 120 in both legs and he is usually a man to be listened to when it comes to anything RS

That's quite a difference on the left leg. Be interested to know the reason behind this. I've only just replaced the oil in mine. As it comes from Mr Flooks I may give this a try. :)
bigdavevw If you PM me your email I'll scan the 2001 owners manual if you want it.
