She doesn't know anything about bikes. It says Ritchey Comp on the handlebar and the stem. It doesn't say anything else anywhere else. You can't blame her for thinking the bike is called a Ritchey Comp. Plated frame, curved black rigid forks, LX groupset, Ritchey kit, Flite saddle, all indicates most likely a Merlin or equivalent shop build. I have never seen a titanium frame with as slim a top tube as that. Given that it has a wishbone seatstay (again extremely rare on a ti frame) and that it looks like a 2000 or so Rock Lobster Expert FS (which stands for Fuji Stoutlite db steel), my best guess is that's what it is.
