hi there, happy new year :xmas-wink:

would like to swap my black NOS ringle super bubba with 36 holes, for the same but in red ;)

in a second time, I'm also open to offers for similar front hub in red :D

cheers

would also like to sell a brand new in box XTR M900 front mech
top pull in 28,6
as you can see on pictures it is really NIB

to be fully honest it isn't mine. I've bought a M952 on ebay US. seller made a mistake and sent me this one (I already have it, searching for the same in bottom pull). postage are not cheap to send it back to him and he asks me if I could sell it in europe.

he asks 40 euros (34£) + postage

Surely that mech is a bottom pull. The leaflet is wrong?
The leaflet is correct ;) and so are you.

The leaflet is trying to say
M900 <normal>
M901 (top pull type)

remember 'top pull type' was a new thing ;)
and by new I mean Shimano's first year making them.

The XTR (m900) pictured is bottom pull as you say.

Instructions are here as well (and the next page as well)

ok guys, maybe you can clear my mind about that cause I still don't fully understand the meaning of bottom pull and top pull :

for me, the mech I'm selling is a top pull, cause cable comes from down.
so a bottom pull would have a cable coming from up...

am I right ?

bottom pull, the cable pulls from the bottom (under or close to the bottom bracket, the traditional way up until the early 90's)

Top pull, is pulled from the top, so over the top tube and down from the seatpost area. They came about to stop the need for a 'wheel' under the back of the mech or other confloption...
