Dirt Disciple
I built this bike in 1990 bought the frame from a bike shop in paignton devon they had quite a few and it was a good price i rode it in time trials for 10 years and when i moved house no time to much to do at home and work.
I gave it to my business partners son who was welsh squash squad member and he wanted to do some triathlon's this lad was impressively fit he rode the bike hard for six tears we only had the bottom bracket pull out of one tube we glued it back in and used a ratchet strap to pull it back together that was 10 years or more years ago and it has done a lot of high speed miles he got down to a 21min ten time trial so he had some power.
I bumped into him the other day and we chatted about the bike he still had it but does not ride any more so i retook possession and it has suffered a bit of butchery he has changed the saddle and turned the wrong end of the seat clamp bolt and broken the lug and they have drilled the lug with the biggest drill they could find shame got to fix that.

This could turn out very nice indeed, but how will you go about fixing the seat bolt?

Looking at it there is enough of the lug left to take some torque so i will rough out what is left and the captive nut and use devcon aluminium plastic metal to bond it in we will see if i am successful the annoying bit is it will not polish so i haven't come up with a solution to that yet. Lets see if it works first.

Still open to ideas though
