At the start you have in your hand a few bits that look like they might go together
Just have to wait for the other matching parts to complete it

Some bits come along that aren't quite right but who knows when something better might come along so you buy 'em just in case
now you start to realise none of the bits match anymore and you don't have enough room to hold them all
everytime a part comes up you need someone else buys it just before you can
you decide to change your build completely and discard your original plan bits in the classifieds
the part you previously needed now comes up dirt cheap
in despir mismatched parts are forced together, bodges taken and wildcard New parts are used just to finish the damn thing.
you check BOTM and someones already gone out with a royal flush
And the golden rule, you're always end up with some bits leftover which look like they could form the next project...
