is this website own by John as well??? google search came up with this website, and it looks identical as .co.uk

I have parkpre.com & parkpre.co.uk both pointing at the same website. Some git stole parkprebicycles.com from me when I forgot to renew the domain payment. Now being cybersquatted and if you want to buy it it will cost a 5 figure sum

anyway you can just take it back from the squatters and say flip them the bird on the way :? :?:

always wondered where you stand if someone does that is it legal above board or are they just geeks trying hard to cash in :x

Cyber squatting isn't hard to deal with. Had this happen at my old company. One cease and desist notification later we got the .com version of our .co.uk domain name back. Total cost to us £120 in legal fees.

£120 being a hell of a lot cheaper than 5 figures  but is it legal what there doing or ilegal can they face fines/prison for it :?:

legal as I understand it, however the people who control domain names take a dim view if you unreasonably withold a name for a company that it would make sense for them to have. So if someone had Retrobike.com you'd have a good case to have it sold to you as the owner of Retrobike.co.uk, but you may have to pay still quite a lot for it.
