One thing we noticed on our recent ride was who where the retro people. Apparently bright orange tops and a large belly does not mean Retro <shocking I know>

Are there any banners or even the large magnets you can stick to cars so it's easy to see where the central 'collection' area is.

I did put my wolly hat on but it's small and well in 30C it a bit warm ;)
And for some reason the warm weather means no one had any RetroBike logo gear on

If memory serves, the Boss did a very limited run of car / window stickers

And I think I have one (squirrelled away for a future version of the Antiques Roadshow!)

JV does have a banner, but that generally only comes out for the big events (ie MM).

Stickers are available via the RB shop.

Dress code is as follows: Sun = short sleve RB tops. Cold = long sleve RB tops.

Otherwise, just organise a meeting place

That's the flaw, we didn't know the car park enough to know where to go, plus with 100's of bikers around and loads of cars in it it was pot luck.

May have to look in to how much the slap on magnets people put on the side of their white vans cost.

Or get a flag printed out... ooh iron on transfers done at home.
(Or let the children loose with a blue pen on the white pillow cases :D)

Good idea ben. We should have done something, or at least i should have asked.
I do want a retrobike jersey but never seen to have any money when the order goes in. I'll buy a t shirt next time i've got funds in my paypal and some url stickers for the cars.

Next big meet for us is pines on 6/6. I'll try and organise a meeting point with matt.

A simple flag would be good - We (Macretro) raced at 10 under the Ben recently and it would have been good to plug Retrobike while we were there - one for each area group and some for purchase?

Great idea Ken
but these banners arent cheap and to have one for each area may be a bridge too far for RB HQ.I'm one for everyone paying a set tenner. Each area group responsible of getting their own
If one area doesnt have enough members ,one from a larger area group can be sent along.
Tenners nothing really :? not compared to half the bike porn we all buy

I wasn't meaning for John to purchase. Just something we could use on our local or bigger local rides if we wanted.

With the side advantage of advertisement as well as making it easier to find each other and if people who have never been there, or been with the group before are trying to find one another.

retrocar,retrorider..............makes me laugh all these 40k bmw x5's etc sat at a trail centre.think a special handshake was mentioned a few years ago...................but a car sticker/area banner etc would be cool

I'll look into doing some cheaper flags for the AECs in the regions. Nice idea as it goes.

The big banner costs strong, might be able to do some smaller ones though. Remind me in a week or so :D
