dont know why, but I love those basic steel Treks from that vintage

Me too, magas. It just has that classic 1990s frame geometry.

i was looking at that one.. just a little too much tho. last couple of days in the same 20 mile radius was that one, a similar vintage 800 in red and a really nice 90/91 830 in blue, all original but panniered up. i was inteding to get it for a mate of mine but i couldnt get the ok from him. it went for 38 quid, wish id just got it for myself. i was so close to getting one bitd but glad i got the sara in the the end.
