Parents havinga clear out and dug out the pram, my older brother, me and my younger sister have all done time in. Made by Silver Cross, bought in about 1975, cost about £75 new.

Mine got "converted" into a gocart when my little sister outgrew it. Really fast on those wheels right up until my dad wrote it off avoiding a car :) It turns out that a bit of wood pressed against one tyre isn't very good at slowing you down.
 
I remember sitting mine (red) out in the garden, out in the sun, just about the first coherent memory I have of my existance
 
An uncle back in the day was so taken with the colour of his daughter's Silver Cross that he sent it to the Jaguar Browns Lane factory to get his car he had ordered painted the same colour.

I'm sure it wold have been cheaper to get the pram painted the same colour as the car.

I used to live near the original Silver Cross factory in Guiseley, now a housing development.
