My new Condor Heritage, bought for touring round Europe next year plus whatever other trips take my fancy.
I wanted whatever tourer I bought to look as traditional as possible, hence choosing a steel framed Condor with the classic paint job, Brooks saddle & Carradice bags but when you take a closer look it's all modern technology with Tiagra STI shifters & front mech, Deore XT chainset, rear mech & hubs, Tektro brakes, Mavic rims, Tubus rack & SPD pedals.
It's so comfortable to ride but even without bags it weighs a ton compared to my Giant. The Tourmalet & Hautacam should be fun then!
I love the look of the Brooks, especially the "hand hammered copper rivets".
