Look how quiet the roads are on "cycling family"!

That clip was shown on a cycling facebook group, the youtube clip has been edited and it's much shorter, think the original is some 10 minutes long, one bloke worked out the entire route and redid the ride on his bike, having cameras fitted front & back to his bike, original film was around Ingoldmells & Skegness, he then uploaded his video, the houses are still the same but the alterations to junctions and the roads is shocking, volume of traffic is a real eye opener.

People walked, cycled, and used public transport much more back in the early 1960s. And large parts of the UK rail network hadn't yet been destroyed by the Beeching cuts.
