Retro at the Pre 65 Scottish

Just been to Scotland for a hol combining a run for the Karmann Ghia and a visit to Kinlochleven for the Scottish Pre '65 motorbike trial and met a chap with this Dawes; late '80s early 90's i guess had a chat about Retrobike and said i would post a piccy. Found it in a shed virtually unused! Also spoke to Scott Dommett who was competing on the trial[came 3rd i gather] and suggested he logged on for a look at all this classic kit we have got, are you there Scott?

He he...thing is; it was a blazing hot day, but i guess you have to be prepared for any weather. We were on part of the West Highland Way and it just looked so nice to ride; technical rocky down/uphills etc with long flattish sections through the Glen. However, could'nt get the bikes in/on the Ghia! Chap with the Dawes said he might sell it so i suggested he logged on to here; did'nt get his or his partners names tho'.
