Hi all
looking for advice on replacing the heavy, buckled and not-ever-so free wheeling wheels on my 1997 M500.
This is my bike: http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/Bike ... Odh3-QbfaM
[Original] Wheels
Hubs Shimano RM-40
Rims Sun Rims AT18, 36-hole
Tires 26 x 2.10" IRC Mythos XC
Spoke Brand DT stainless steel, 1.8mm straight gauge
Spoke Nipples Brass nipples
I still have the 7 speed shifters and a 7 speed cassette which I don't want to change unless I have to, meaning unless I can't buy a reasonably priced new wheel.
I have searched a bit but haven't yet found anything other than wheels supposedly compatible with 8 or 9 speed cassettes e.g. http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/a71608 ... =GBP&cn=gb
Any help please?
thanks
Paul
